The Korean EU Association seeks to support the researches of the EU studies emerging scholars in 2021 by receiving research support (Jean Monnet Activities) from the European Union Commission in the 2018-2020 ,fiscal year.
Academic thesis writing support project is open as follows (refer to the attached file)
▪Topic (choose one of two, free detailed subject)
-Brexit negotiations and the future of EU integration
-Immigration (or immigrants) issues and EU (member states) policy response
▪Research fund support and conditions
-3 million won support for one paper (including other personal income tax and publication materials fee for academic journals), and additional support for round-trip airfare settlement for in-person presentations abroad. (However, if the level is not reached, non-selection is possible)
-Research expenses are paid in installments at the time of initiation (50¤) and completion (50¤).
-Research papers must be presented at the EUSA-AP Conference 2021 in Melbourne, Australia on June 28-29, 2021 (local visit or online, language: English)

-Research papers must be submitted/published in English in domestic (foreign) academic journals before August 31, 2021 (based on publication in domestic journals and submissions in foreign journals).
-When publishing a paper in an academic journal, it is mandatory to specify "Jean Monnet Activities research support from the EU Association of Korea". (The recommended journal to be submitted is 「the Korean EU Association」 but other journal is fine)
-Must be New research papers, not published papers or research results
-Research that receives (or will receive) double support from other organizations/institutions is excluded.
-Thesis dissertation after the start of the dissertation review is excluded.
-Thesis in compliance with the Ministry of Education's directive “Guidelines for securing research ethics”
-PhD researcher in all fields of study or within 5 years of obtaining a doctoral degree(Multiple researchers can participate)
▪Submission deadline and method
-March 15, 2021 (Mon) 17:00 (The results will be announced on March 19 (Fri))
-Research proposal within 3 pages of A4 paper (11 points) (including problem awareness, scope, methodology, and expected results)
-Insert basic researcher information such as researcher's name, contact information, position (or affiliation), and detailed major on a separate page
-e-mail to the secretariat of the society (email@example.com)
-Use the e-mail of the society or the e-mail of Professor Tae-Hwang Kim in charge of this project (firstname.lastname@example.org)
